Woooo!

Happy Birthday, Tea Time Inc!

We are now one whole year old! How exciting. I've heard many times that many fledgling businesses don't make it past a year. Well, we are still here and going stronger than ever. Do you know what that means? Champagne! Woot!

Okay, here's some new things

I'm currently working on (nearly done with) this jacket. I now can't stand it. It's a situation where I only see the things that are wrong with it. But all in all I like the overall idea of the thing, if anything. It will be in the Steam Con fashion show! Whoooo!

I have also taken pictures of one of my AWESOME trunks. This is the cooler one.

Yup. That's it for now, I need to sew more buttons because these spats are selling like mad!

rrrr

I suppose I'm an official designer now, since one of my skirt patterns has been ripped off and is being made in sweatshops:

http://www.chicstar.com/storefront/listproducts.aspx?idProduct=7382&source=froogle_chic&keyword=36050

I found this skirt for sale when browsing on google, and stopped in amazement because it is my EXACT design:

They even got their product description from me. They made it a few inches shorter, but besides that it is the exact same skirt. I am amazed. There are now Tea Time knockoffs out there. I feel a bit flattered, but more astonished.

To anyone who wants to buy this skirt: It may be cheaper from this random website, but I don't send my work to sweatshops. I make everything by hand myself, and put the highest quality and love into my work. Choose to support struggling designers rather than sketchy websites that steal people's designs.

AHHHHH!!!!

So, I just happened to get my little hands on some AMAZING old steam trunks. I. am. so. excited......!!! I want to take pictures of them to show you all, but due to my being tired and full of delicious delicious food, I won't do that now. Possibly later.

One of them opens up and has drawers that you can pull out, and things you can hang clothes on. SO COOL! The other two are the more normal just a big cool looking box type, but they are still really neat and useful. They were covered in dust and full of spiders and old newspapers so I had to clean them out and get covered in dustiness. Woot. I can now store my fabric in a much more organized fashion.

Also, I'm working on a new women's jacket/shrug that is cool and I will take some preliminary pictures and post them soon. It will fit Toeri. I WILL MAKE IT FIT DAMMIT!

Anyways. That's all for today.

Until next time <3

Spats!

I am excited about the wonderful new spats Loch has made.

We have been sent into a steampunk clothing making fervor since we were tentatively invited into the Steamcon fashion show. I have so many ideas in my brain clawing their way out, I'm glad I have the rest of the week off work so I can make things non stop! Whoooo! Insanity!

I'm working on some designs for other spats in a variety of colors, and some more feminine ones. Also: jackets, pants, shirts, skirts, and more! I'm excited!

stage 1

So I've finally done something productive in this unbearable heat! I got around to taking some photos and actually listing things. Amazing, considering I'm melting. I never would have thought that 95 degrees would seem cooler to me, but compared to yesterday, today is pretty nice. I've been sleeping in a tent in my yard because it's way too hot in my house to sleep. At night.

Anyways, here are some new things.

First, we had a photoshoot at the capitol building for "Ishocon III", which was steampunk themed. My favorite picture is of the two lovely ladies that I made look all old (oh, the fancy effects of iPhoto):

Also, this one of Chanin turned out pretty cool:

And some random ones of me in my STUPIDLY HOT hairfalls:

So that was a long, hot day. But I found a top hat that I forgot that I had made for AE while looking for my hairfalls, and it is neat-o. I took pictures! (amazing, isn't it?)

I have also been working on a really neat pendant that I have constructed out of an old pocket-watch case. More updates on that later. But for now, popsicles must be devoured.

New Journal!

Hello everyone, and thanks for visiting my new journal! I will be updating with new products, projects in the making and other such frivolities. Be sure to check out my shop ( teatimeinc.etsy.com ) and feel free to ask if you have any questions!

Here are some pants that I just made as a custom order for Etsy user LeahNardo; I love how they turned out so I took some pictures:

I love the fabric they are made of. They also look really good with my steampunk vest.
